Elite Roofing is a family-owned & operated business founded in 2005 by Al Torrella. Al had been a roofer for 30+ years until he went into the corporate world. After working in corporate, he decided that he wanted to go back to his passion: roofing. Only this time he had the means to create his own business, and thus Elite Roofing was born.

What is the typical process in getting an estimate?Depending on what type of service you'd like, procedures may vary. For each service, we require our customers to first call our office at (201)436-1011, to set up an estimate. We will ask you a few questions in order to set you up in our system which include: 1. First and Last Name 2. Address 3. Phone Number 4. Email We ask for this information to make communications with our customers easy and effective! Once we obtain this information, we will schedule your estimate based on the nature of your call!

What happens during the estimate?Once we set up your scheduled estimate, one of our sales representatives will come to your property and inspect the area of concern for potential issues. Here at Elite we use the latest technology to perform the inspection on your property.

How long will it take in order to complete a repair or replacement?Depending on the nature of your call, repair and replacement times may vary. After calling to schedule an estimate, our waiting times can be anywhere from a few days to a week depending on our customer demands. After the estimators inspect your problem areas, it will take a few business days to write up your estimate which will include what materials are needed, what repairs are needed, and the total cost for said repairs/replacements. Once the estimate and contracts are signed, we will move forward with your job. Other factors to keep in mind when needing a repair or replacement are weather conditions, and whether or not permits are required.

Do I need a permit?Permits are required based on your local municipality building code enforcement, which depend on how fast code enforcement processes them. Permits are usually required when you have an attached home, if you rent your property, if repairs are more than 20% of your roof, or if you have a historical home.

Is your company licensed and insured?Here at Elite, we understand the importance of being fully licensed and insured to ensure you of peace of mind! Alongside being licensed and insured, we also have employee workman compensation, which means that in the event that a roofer gets hurt during a job, the homeowner does not have the legal responsibility to deal with anything; it is our company's responsibility.

Do you provide warranties?We provide warranties on all NEW full roof work. We do not provide warranties on repairs.

Will the color of my current shingles match the color of the new shingles used in the repair?When performing a roof repair, we will try to color match to the rest of your roof as close as possible. It is important to note that the sun bleaches roofing materials and colors may have slight variations.
